Good to see he'll get a decent crack at 147.

But not Berto, and definitely not Manny

He should go for one of the Europeans, Senchenko is probably the weak link at welter. Hatton's next fight should actually be against Ortiz at 147, and Berto should be fighting Senchenko or Zaveck.
berto should be facing cintron or mike jones.

unfortunately, this fight against ortiz is one of the tougher bouts he's taken. quintana was a decent test but he obviously didn't belong at the weight and looked like a corpse.

i'm wondering how much longer berto will even stay at 147. he fought a few divisions above in the AMs and even started out pro as a middleweight. if he can't get a fight with pacquiao and he isnt gonna unify the title, i say he steps up to 54 and fight cintron or cotto. there really isnt anyone interesting at 147 outside of pac/mosley/mayweather(?) that he could even step up the opposition against

Maybe this time Hatton will get all the advantages that Canelo got in his title fight. So it looks like Hatton is going to fight a lightweight at catchweight for the WW title.

Probably a favour to Hatton to agreeing to the fight at a catchweight especially after Saul came in over the weight and they threatened to walk. Give him a shot at his natural weight and see what he can do probably his last shot at a title anyway.

Schaefer saying that Hatton can beat any welterweight just goes to show you he doesnt know **** about boxing.

                absolutely spot on. or zaveck

hatton is a good match up for these two. i think berto has too much for him. senchenko wants to hide in europe. zaveck wants to break america...a hatton fight is a good door opener except i think hatton possibly nicks it on a narrow UD

hatton has bags of heart and deserves something for basically playing canelo and oscars whipping boy.

frank warren could do a canny bit of business offering him a fight against kell brook for #1 @ wbo
                kell beats hatton handily.

GBP is setting up MNatton for a Floyd tune up fight. GBP knows that a lot of british fans wants MHatton to beat Floyd to avenge Rick's lose...

pac v. hatton 2.........little brother's revenge! wembley stadium.

Matt was game that's for sure, but he would lose against at least 5 ww's. mike jones might beat his a$$ next.
