      1. Just because you add silly little descriptions like shot and midget next to all those fighters names doesn't mean that they are not top level compatition for a 20 year old prospect. Every prospect gets brought up in a similar fashion so why are you so obsessed with him fighting top level opposition already? I said his resume was good for a 20 year old prospect not a 20 year old PFP fighter.

      2. And what 20 year old has fought against guys with the experience that Baldo, Ndou, and hatton have? Please name some? Fernando Guerrero? Compared to everyother top prospect /contenders Saul is ***ing lightyears ahead of everyone else. Even Berto's resume is seriously lacking when compared to Canelo's.

Again 50+ fights and one stoppage and when Canelo ko's a guy like baldo who we can all agree has an Iron Chin your point seems a little dumb. Vernon Forrest couldn't even hurt baldo for *** sake.

And it's really eay to say that Vargas would KO hatton when there is no ***ing way that we would ever see that fight. Way to compare vargas to Canelo with a fight that will never happen!

Article was very good and the only thing I disagree with is that he said Alvarez is slow, not true. He may not be lightning fast but he's not slow handed.

He didn't show much head movement but I think what Roy Jones said was more true, the fact the kid likes to **** and it's more attitude than ability.

Canelo is a good prospect and that's it at this stage.

Well one difference between Alvarez and Vargas is Canelo went be sent to the slaughter like Vargas was against Trinidad. Alvarez will be protected by GBP and the WBC as best as they can. I don't expect to see Canelo against anyone with the pedigree of Miguel Cotto, Margarito, Angulo, Kirkland, P-Will or even Cintron anytime soon. I imagine when the time comes, Cintron would probably be their first choice considering his penchant to fail in most of his biggest tests. Now that he's a champion (well, paper champion with a belt), I just want to see how GBP is going to enable him to keep his belt while fighting soft touches for his next several bouts. And one thing he definitely needs is a better trainer for all his technical flaws. This will be interesting to see how this all pans out...

                  True Article

This article speaks the truth. He is a good boxer, but he can be way better. He needs the right trainers to make him better. And also, he looks like Dennis The Menace in this picture.

i like alvarez but i dont see how he can improve. there are fighters that u see, and you think to yourself, with a little work he can become amazing. but i just dont see it with alvarez. He has solid technique but his major fault is movement and speed. If you are not fast at 20 then you will never be fast. he will be an exciting fighter to watch but i dont see him being the next big thing.
