Canelo made History becoming the youngest boxer to win a title at Super Welterweight

Many of you might not know but by Canelo winning the title, he became the youngest person ever to win the Super Welterweight title.

This is pretty impressive for someone his age.

Like it or not he has put his name in the history books - you have to at least respect him for that.

Technically he did but anyone with any knowledge of boxing knows that title fight was a joke. Im not knocking Alvarez because he doesnt make the rules and i dont blame him for taking the fight but the WBC is a joke and that fight should never have been for a championship.

He might be in the history books but Vargas did it in a much tougher fashion.

again...canelo didn't offer the wbc to put the title up for grabs in that fight..and which boxer would pull out of it because of it.so dont blame canelo for this "farce" blame the wbc

el feroz beat a defending world champion and a top fighter at 154 in yory boy.

who himself won it off an undefeated raul marquez.

no stench of vacant titles in vargas win.

                good little win for canelo.

but after vargas won the belt , in the next 2 years......vargas fought raul marquez , winky wright , ike quartey and tito trinidad.

let's see what canelo/golden boy does with his title fights.
