What makes cotto so shot?

But Cotto is shot to some extent. He really never looked good to me when he got hit. He had this kind of sluggish look whenever he got hit hard. Not everyone could handle the punches the same. He's a tough guy though. Some get the shakes early.

Shot is RJJ, Cotto to me seems fine, BoxingScene totally overuses the term Shot. he def has some wear on him though

Hes had some good fights and not trying to take anything away from him. But Cotto has a questionable chin. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets knockdown/knocked-out in the Mayorga fight.

PPl act like Yuri walked in the ring crippled, he was fine for 7 rounds and I think was totally surprised at Cotto's ability and skill.

I would call that brutally being TKO'd either he took alot of punishment and Bayless saw enough in both fights, he has never been on dream street where he was unable to reach a 10 count.

Cotto has had it ok for a little while. It's a difficult question.


If he can face a pressure fighter now and handle him, I'd say no.


Is Mayorga that guy nowadays? I don't know that either.


After two strong pressure fighters in Pac and Margarito, he hasn't faced similar since.

Jennings and Foreman didn't exactly fit the mold of guys who could beat Cotto, guys that hurt him and force him to fight off his back foot.




I think Cotto fought pretty well lately against the right type of opponents.

He's certainly not through and can beat most guys most nights.

The best in the division I don't know.

Just becuz he might not beat the best in the division doesn't necessarily mean he is shot.
