Cotto hasn't been beaten up? What fights were you watching buddy? Besides taking incredible amount of punishment FORCING him to take a knee TWICE... or does that not fit in your definition of being "beaten up". He hasn't really done anything besides beating a one legged boxer Foreman, I hope with Stewart he improves though.

cause cotto's been in brutal wars... the pac and marg fights took off a lot of mileage and the clottey fight didn't do him any favors either.

He isn't shot and never was shot. He lost, thats what happens when you face great opponents. He lost to pacman who is considered to be the best p4p fighter, and he lost to margarito, which a lot of people thought margarito cheated. He lost to only those 2 fighters, and apparently that means you're shot and or washed up. lol boxingscene

Well in fairness, the mighty Margarito that pressured fighters to the canvas & showed devastating punching power(before Mosley)hurt him badly & I think he's not been the same fighter since. But that might be also due to the fact that Cotto doesn't clinch,he should try it sometime,it works better than parrying landed blows & sitting on the second rope like a tan punching bag.

On top of the beatings he's got is his selection of opponents that raises eyebrows. Foreman who aint that good of a fighter, Mayorga who isn't close to what he was 8 years ago. This is while Martinez, Berto, and Angulo all called him out. We aint gonna know whether if he's shot or not until he fights one of those guys.

Wow Iceta you are on the fence on this ? I think you have turned the corner and are heading down objective lane.
