Anyone who is halfway honest and has watched both men fight knows that the analysis for this fight is simple and straight forward.

Haye's defense is putrid, his hands at his hips style a bad habit from years of fighting overmatched opponents who had no ability to take advantage of the sloppy, arrogant "style".

Furthermore, the people who claim Haye has "speed" are blinded from the fact that his footwork is well below average for a world class fighter. He does not have the ability to use deft footwork to avoid punches so when he needs to avoid them he simply runs. He crosses his feet quite often, which is a habit many amateurs get past within 2 years. He also falls in with his right hand and often finds himself off balance.

Klitschko on the other hand maximizes his speed and distance advantages with precision footwork and an outstanding sense of balance. He is always in position to throw a knockout punch with his balance centered and his feet firmly beneath him.

Haye's perceived advantages in this contest are nonsense. His sloppy habits and careless approach are not something that will disappear overnight.

Klitschko has not faced an opponent in a long time with a defense as leaky as Haye's. On the other hand Haye has never faced an opponent with a defense as tight and well trained as Wladimirs.

As you stated, Haye cannot get out of the way of even a mediocre jab, and he is about to step in the ring with a man who has a jab that certainly ranks in the Top-10 and most likely Top-5 all time at the Heavyweight Level.

You are all basing your opinion on a fight where haye was very offensive minded against ruiz . the first time wlad gets countered and feels the speed and power he will become very tentative. Do you think haye's game plan when he looked at ruiz was: "god we have to avoid that jab, what a killer punch". No because they knew haye had to punch between ruiz punching and hit with power or ruiz keeps coming after you. totally different fight and style.

Haye has 5 months to do his homework get ready and prepare for wlad, what do you think his main focus is gonna be? What is the punch wlad throws 90% out of his total output? Haye is not gonna be a sitting duck like all these other fighters, who provide no foot movement angles or upper body movement. Some of you guys are really naive. You utterly misinterpret Wlad's opponents because you haven't seen their non-Wlad fights. It's Wlad who degrades them to school-boys.

1) Get him out his comfort zone
2) Go close-range
3) Expose his chin repeatedly while preventing him from moving away.

Unfortunately with every jab that Wlad lands you are less able to do so.
