First off Tito was 22 when he fought a past his prime Camacho and Cotto didn't even make his debut until he was 21.

So yes, they were handled with white gloves in their careers when they found out what they had. I'm not criticizing, just saying that's how it is in this sport.

Whether you like it or not Canelo IS only 20, he didn't ask for this belt, it was Suleiman and Golden Boy as you said pushing him. So don't come down on the kid or even think he won't be good because we don't know just yet.

no one is saying he shouldnt fight contenders im saying he should fight the elites and like it or not even angulo kirland and cintron are some of the elites at 154. He should fight contenders and grow as a fighter before he jumps into fights he is not ready for. he should fight guys like foreman trout powell those types of fighters not blown up welters. And why doesnt cotto face guys like angulo and cintron? And isntead fighting mayorga whos is not a contender besides in the talking depart ment. And i did not mention mexicans bc most are familiar with most of the lower weights but my point is most if not all tittle holders dont face top comp when they have belts. And i am taking shot at moreno bc he doesnt face the elite in his division cermeno isnt neither is parra neither are all the other fighters he has defended his belt. only the guy donaire just destroyed and maybe one or two more fighters but how long has moreno been champ? why doesnt he unify? why doesnt he seek out all the best challengers for the belt intead of fighting the parras of the world.
