So because YOU think that is what a belt means he should have to ruin a potential hundreds of millions dollar career.

Smart people know a belt means nothing.

Did i say Kirkland was elite? This is the formula every up and coming fighter uses. Oscar used it,Floyd used it,Vargas, to name a few. Berto is well past the point where he should have fought a higher level fighter.

I wanna see the guy take the tougher fights, and I think he will. We don't even know who his next figh is and people are piling on like he is fighting some tomatoe can already. All I said is he doesn't belong in the ring with division elites yet, like some people herewanna see already.

Yeah they should but no one is held to that standard not even the 1 pound for pound fighter so why should this 20 year old kid be? I would love for him to fight some like powell or foreman somebody who poses a threat and are his size but that arent the top guys.

They are all claiming to be by holding the belts and should be fighting the best opponents available if not they should be criticized.

Contenders would be fine as long as they are serious and and legit title challengers.

those two are serious contenders at least foreman is an ex title holder. The only way people should hate on canelo is if he fights a total bum or fights a good fighter moving up again and he needs to forget 147.

So every fighter that fights a tons of eliminators and regional titles to get a chance at the belt is wasting his time?

I guess that championship means nothing to them too right?

It's not just Spray. It's every fighter ranked by that organization.

Unified comes after he defends and fights other fighters. It means he's among the best in the world and takes on challenges.

Canelo should be expected to fight a top 5 guy ranked by his organization if he has the belt.

Otherwise, he can give it up if he likes.

We don't have to like the status quo.

Most of us want a title to mean something.

To act like it means nothing at all is an insult to a lot of fighters.
