Who are you picking for Vitali to fight next???

I think instead of going straight to a unification bout with Byrd or Ruiz, I think unfortunately In april or May we will have to see Vitali pound out another double donut roll of a fighter in his next matchup....

My pick is.....Michael Moorer....Sad but true.

Anyone else wish to elaborate a bit more on this and the other sad matchups we will be plagued to see in the upcoming months???

Id also like to point out that since inking Davarryl Williamson Don King will be launching him into the limelight onto one of his heavyweight showdown cards, so fully expect Davarryl to be facing one of the heavyweight champs on his cards or even pitting him against Golota or Rahman.

My picks for next up heavyweight fights are

Klitschko vs Moorer-Klitschko is in a fad for fighting overweight past it fighters and his KO win is a GREAT excuse for Vitali to jump the gun and win another easy fight...

Golota vs Brewster-Why the hell not? King has pitted him against every other heavyweight champ in his stable, third times a charm?

Ruiz/Byrd vs Williamson-We all know King will give Williamson a shot at the gold that is a given everytime King signs a new heavyweight...

These are my heavyweight picks for 2005, whats yours and where does Rahman Fit in?

The WBC surely wouldn't let him get away with that.

I want him to fight someone who actually moves occasionally in the ring; not someone who is hoping for that one in a million chance that they can walk through his jab and land a perfect shot on him.

Any legitimate contender would be an improvement over the last 3 jokes he's fought since losing to Lennox.

I have mixed feelings about Ruiz fighting Vitali.

Ruiz does not deserve the opportunity/payday.

But, he certainly deserves the brutal beating he'd get.

Kirk Johnson/Corrie Sanders/Danny Williams-All 3 of these fighters did not deserve their shot at the title but somehow miraculously got it.

Aside from the PPV numbers they are willing to let this go on as Vitali is the heavyweight "champ"....

Aside from that, the fact the WBC is making an all-african title makes me question that they will let Vitali face whoever...

Did I mention Mayweather will be fighting for the all-african wbc title in January?

        *Sighs*

Jabs-Why not? What had Sanders/Johnson/Williams have done? Atleast Ruiz would fight back and not choke up like the others, Ruiz would actually give Vitali a fight.

Johnson had lost to Ruiz, Sanders was all-but retired prior to the Wlad fight, and Williams was a replacement for Kevin McBride as the Tyson camp realized that the public would see McBride as another McNeely.

Then Johnson went to all-day buffets, Sandes pummeled the glass-chinned Wlad, and a poorly conditioned and injured Tyson got KO'd by Williams.

Funny how things change so quickly, isn't it?

i see him fighting another distant fringe contender-journeyman.....so expect it to be someone who is mistakenly ranked in the top 15.

From what I've read(Boston Globe,NY Post) Klitscho is leaning towards a fight with Hasim Rahman and not unification between one of the beltholders. A good matchup, but the fans are demanding and anticipating unification bouts. I mean why doesn't Klitscho get the picture, there was poor attendance at his last fight and ppv sales were lagging. Why can't this so-called heavyweight champ do what the fans want?

Because, no matter what we like to think, these guys don't care what we think, unless it drastically affects their earning potential. And that goes for pretty much any professional sport.
