Also, 151.8 and 151.4 30 minutes later???? He didn't even try to cut any weight in that time.....which leads to the assumption that he was advised from the start of camp to not worry about making weight.
Whatever happens, it is now going to be a tainted victory and worse than that it keeps boxing labelled as corrupt.
I thought it was an hour and a half later, with 30 minutes still to go for the two hours. I am surprised that he could take off no more than about 5 oz. that is, IF he was trying.

I see no reason why the Commission shhould get a cent more than whatever fees they normally get. If they want to fine Canelo, that should be a privare matter and separate from the purse, which is between the 2 boxers.

If Hatton won't fight, (and I wouldn't blame him) I think that he is still, by contract, entitled to a solid percentage of the original purse.

So he should pull out and take his contracted amount. His opponent iis likely to rehydrate to about 170, and hatton, after all is a small welterweight.

Hatton should demand the entire $70k or should walk away and tell GBP and the CSAC to go f**k themselves. As Don King would say, this is recoculous!

Besides, missing weight by 1 pound is hardly cheating.
I.8 lbs is just under TWO pounds, and the guy will probably be 170 at fighttime.

mhatton should have demanded a 10M / pound penalty over the agreed weight limit to prevent canelo of getting an advantage over weight...

Floyd weighed in @ 146 on a 144-lb contracted fight. Then he refused to be weighed (must have ballooned to 160) during fight night. Then everyone gave him credit for the win. lol
