    It's been asnwered but it's because Baldomir couldn't afford the sanctioning fee's.

    Zab Judah was supposed to beat Baldomir, it was a stay busy fight for him then he was supposed to meet Floyd down the line for what they called a 'super fight'

    But the moral of the story is never put your faith in Zab Judah and of course as we know Judah lost to Baldomir thus losing the Lineage to him.

      Fat Dan as usual is telling a half truth, Zab was the unified welterweight champion with multiple titles, it was Baldomir's decision to not fight for the IBF by not paying the sanctioning fee. Thus Judah kept the belt by default. The IBF knew Zab was fighting Floyd next so they didn't bother to strip him and would of likely offered the title for that fight anyway.
