how is ricky trying to make a "quick dollar"? He has been helping Matt out, building him up. Matt has taken all the right steps to get a title shot. granted, IT SHOULD NOT BE at 154. He has earned a title shot at 147, though. I disagree with Ricky, you still take the fight and the extra loot. that way, even if you lose, excuse is in place.

I agree with RICKY,De La Hoya and Sulaiman are trying to cheat and they don't care about the fact a smaller fighter can risk his life in the ring.....if ALVAREZ is 154 i'd like to see Matthew walk away and make cry De La Hoya and Sulaiman,Matthew has to forget WBC and try to become welterweight world champ vs Zaveck or Senchenko!
