Where are all those "catch-weight cry babies" - why haven't I heard from you little f_ggets? Oh I forgot it's ok for a mexican to fight at a catch weight (Canelo at 150lbs. for a 154lbs belt) but not Pacquiao...where are you catch-weight cry babies???

I wouldn't really worry if I were team hatton, for one Canelo has never came in higher then 150.5lbs(fact) and if you didn't know jr middle weight is above 147 to below 154lbs. All ricky is doin is blowing smoke to ensure Canelo doesn't even think of coming in higher then 150. Mathews losing anyway fo an extra 30% nvr hurt no body! Dnt worry guys hbo wouldn't let this fight fall!

You dont seem to have grasped the idea of a weight limit, Nonito Donaire can challenge for the cruiserwight title for instance and stay at his current weight, so long as a fighter does not weight more than the agreed limit the fight is good to go. A smaller man is perfectly entitled to challenge a larger boxer should they wish to do so. As long as they dont ask the other boxer to come down in weight (when challenging for titles) then whats to complain about? If Nonito Donaire was to KO Klitschko would you complain he had an adavantage as he came in under heavyweight? If so please start watching another sport as you dont understand boxing.

Fact is this was arranged at 150lbs as a non title fight, there is nothing wrong with catchweights for non title fights, they agreed to 150lbs so if Canelo comes in over he IS effectively cheating the contract. The fact it is a title fight is entirely down to GBP and the WBC who car more about money than their boxers or boxing fans.

hey, ******! The catchweight is in Hatton's favor. Not Canelo.

for those who think they're smart (JSS), the catchweight favors Hatton, not Alvarez. Alvarez is a normal 154 pounder who must lose 4 lbs for the fight. As a fan, I dont agree with catchweights or this fight being for the title..but it's been signed.

You are right on your comment. But it's not the right thing to do. Fighters who fight for a division title should at least make the required weight. In respect for those who have been fighting in the division.

, @ this moron for not knowing the difference between the commission and sanctioning body.
