He was more popular and a darling of the media, yes, but his accomplishments and influences from what he did outside of are not really comparable. Definately deserves to be up there as most influential boxer since late 80's but still, your just looking at things from an American's perspective DLH had nowhere near the recognition in Asia...you know the continent with 70% of the worlds population.

Dude your missing the point. Being the most popular fighter is not the same as casting a positive image of a sport. Hell, DLH hardly had following in Mexico, he was always an American darling. When you talk about Ali, Tyson and now Pac, these guys were recognizable images that known around the world. Get your blinders off, America is not the only country in the world with people to inspire.
