Good points, but Pac penetrated nothing vs Clottey, Clottey was unmarked, and Manny's connect-rate was extremely low, by memory.

You cannot compare the human punching bag with Mayweather.

Footwork is the key, everything will be setup from there.

Look back at punch stats, his jabs were crazy low but thats because he was pumping it to keep Clottey in his shell and to punch his gloves to create an opening. His power punches connected at a 34% connect rate, staggering considering how tight Clottey's guard is and if I remember correctly some 60-70% of those power punches were to the body, hence no bloody face.

Both have excelent footwork, that was actually something I noticed also in the CLottey fight. Normally Clottey was excellent at keeping proper foot positioning vs a s.paw (his lead foot on the outside of his opponent's) but everytime Clottey moved his feet into position, pac would correct himself and fire.

First let me say this....i don't know who wins, but i would prob favour the guy who has been more active. Floyd is getting old and his reflexes and speed have slowed with age and moreso inactivity.

Now on to business. Little know fact (well at least i beleive it's fact) Floyd's left hook is his best punch....it's better than his right hand...but i agree with the jab part. Floyd won't his jab.....it's almost worthless against a SP of Manny's speed and just opens him up to right hook counters. NO, Floyd will do what he always does against SP's....he will look to counter their jab with his own short left hook over the top. He will look to the straight right hand lead to the head and also the straight right hand to the body and throw in left hooks upstairs and down where appropriate.

If Floyd's legs and reflexes are still there (i mean the sort he showed at 147 against Baldomir) this could be one of the most boring fights in history, with Floyd moving constantly and never engaging unless it's on is terms. By throwing 15 punches a rd and landing 6-8 punches.

That's what I love about this matchup, they both have good counters for each other, Mayweather has an awesome lead right and left hook, Pac has his lead left and right hook. Both use their jabs for different reasons (Mayweather to slip in shots, Pac to create openings) but neither rely on it too much making it harder to counter.

I think it will be a boring fight unless pac does catch Floyd then I could see Floyd picking things up for at least a couple rounds.

floyd sr., dlh, angelo dundee have been wrong so many times in predicting outcome of pac's fights...dlh & floyd sr said hatton will win over pac, dlh and dundee thought and said dlh wins over pac...being experts on boxing still they were always terribly wrong on pac fights...why? to quote roach on dlh not able to pull the trigger "i know why but i won't tell you, you will just see it in the fight"

For all of us who are familiar with ODLH's fight picks, this REALLY means: The fight WON'T happen, and if it did, PACQUIAO WOULD WIN. LoL

P.S. I don't know if it will happen or not but I think Floyd would win. Oscar just has a really bad record at picking fights, lol.

I hate to admit it but I agree with gayla hoya. Though PBB will not whoop pacman's ass but he has the better chance of winning the fight....If it happens...Pac has problem with counter punchers without even considering Floyd's god given counter punching ability and slickness.

But wait....

We may have forgotten PBB-Castillo first meeting where Castillo got robbed. If pac can pressure mayweather like he did. He has the chance of winning.
