I'm worried about Vitali vs. Solis, but not about Wlad vs. Haye

There are rumors going around the internet that Solis is in much better shape than he was for the Austin fight. He does appear fitter in the photos I've seen.

This is not going to be an easy fight for Vitali.

There's going to be some serious fireworks, but Vitali will prevail. I'm going to rewatch the JC Gomez and Sosnowski bouts when I get home. Kevin Johnson, despite putting on a bad performance, was able to cut Vitalis eye with a quick punch and Sosnowski got a lot more shots in than he should have.

Saying that, Vitali knows that Solis will be his most difficult bout since Lewis and Sanders and has surely trained to his limits. Solis has hand-speed and punch variety far superior to any of Vitalis opponents since his comeback (Well, Kevin Johnson had a very fast jab but it was ineffective), but Vitali is far more experience as a pro and is a superior athlete.

This will probably be Vitali's toughest fight since Corrie Sanders, but i'm not too worried.

            Vitali by KO.

This man is a talented fighter, he has one of the best records of all time at heavyweight in the amateurs, including a stoppage win over David Haye in the 2001 World amateurs.

An in-shape Solis will be a very dangerous opponent for Vitali Klitschko, who turns 40 in July and doesn't put his punches together as quickly as he did 10 years ago.

However, I can't imagine Dereck Chisora beating Wladimir.

And if David Haye finds the courage to fight Wlad on July 2, that fight will be a mismatch as well - Haye is tailor-made for the current version of Wlad.
Nah, no need to be worried. Solis hasn't been in shape since being an amateur and he's not going to suddenly turn up in his amateur form, which was so vastly different from what he has become, it would be nearly impossible to turn things around now. He looked like a tall, lean, muscled athlete in the ams. Now, he looks like a squat, fat, slow, chubby piece of ****.

Vitali will break him down and stop him late. Solis will not come into the fight any better than he has shown in the past. It's a money fight for him to retire with...or at least just get some early career money. He doesn't care about fighting anymore. It happens to most Cubans when they get out. They've been made to fight non stop and then when they have freedom, and live in Miami, they go to ****e and stop caring and training. It's why there have been so many possible Cuban greats that have been terrible pro's. Hardly any of them can keep the passion up because of the way they were brought up training. It's really sad, but true.

              Vitali by TKO late.

I think people are really overrating Solis. Maybe they look at the amateur version and not the pro version, who has shown himself to be slow, plodding, lacking defense and stamina badly and his punches, because of his huge weight gain, have lost snap and his balance has become terrible, which results in poor punch form.

You could see it in his last fight. His punches were thrown badly and a lot of them were weak arm punches. It would have been good to see Solis in with some better opponents first to see if he could fight back when someone is really having a good go at him, but I think Vitali is one another level to Solis and most other heavyweights out there at the moment apart from Wlad and Haye maybe.

Everyone else sucks balls. Haye vs whats-is-name would be a good fight because he also came from the lower divisions, but whats-is-name doesn't have any chance whatsoever against either Klit. Too small and gets hit too much despite a good chin.

Yeah, you're right! So is every other fighter either Klitschko has ever beaten. They've all been bums. They've beat a bunch of nobodies.

Romanchuk beat Solis 2 of the 3 times they fought in the Amateurs. Romanchuk's style has a little similarity to Vitali's and he's also Ukrainian.

If Solis is 100% in shape, I would favor Solis. Still he looked pathetic against Ray Austin.
