I'm worried about Vitali vs. Solis, but not about Wlad vs. Haye

Solis don't throw bombs. Haye is the most entertaining fighter in the heavyweight division. Most entertaining hands down.
Welliver has a great chin, he's never been down in a fight. I don't think Haye would KO him, in fact Haye might gas and get KOed.

You find Haye entertaining because you're gay and Haye is better looking than Solis. But being pretty won't help him if he ever fights a prime decent heavyweight.

Freedom, I'm with you all the way. Wlad vs. Chisora or Haye should be a cinch, but I'm much more concerned about Vitali's fight with Solis. I really believe Solis beats every HW not named Klitschko, and I hope Vitali hasn't underestimated him.

Do you like Solis over Haye?

Don't even try with this kid. Solis, Chisora, Peter, Briggs, Chambers, Gomez, Arreola all have somethin in common....They are stationary fighters, they stay in front of you. No movement no lateral movement. They can't close the distance between them and the Klitschkos. Stationary. That's why they all get beat the same. Solis? Watch Solis-Austin and tell me Solis beats Haye.

Umm...the question wasn't directed at you. If you want to offer your opinion, that's fine. As for me, I never claimed who I thought would win between Solis and Haye. IIG made a statement. I wanted him to follow up on it.

I have some problems with this argument:

1- It was ten years ago.
2- It was in the amateurs.
3- It was fought at a different weight.

I'm not saying Solis can't beat Haye now (nor am I saying Haye can't beat Solis), but I don't think an amateur bout from ten years ago proves anything.

But since then, Solis has defeated the world's top amateurs plus far more pro heavyweights than Haye.

During that time, Haye fought mostly smaller men, like super middleweight Lolenga Mock (who knocked him down) or carefully hand-picked OLD men like age 40 Carl Thompson and age 39 Audley Harrison.

I realize Solis has been overweight (and the gay fans prefer the better-looking Haye), but Solis is a better fighter than the sloppy, rabbit-punching Haye.

Yeah, I definitely think Solis would decision Haye. Their amateur fight does confirm what seems to be unquestionable to me, that Solis has superior boxing skills. Haye is heavy handed, but I believe Solis has a better chin, and could win a clear decision over 12.

David Haye is not one of the better Heavyweights in my opinion, and I think he must agree, because he only seeks to fight old, washed up guys that have no chance against him. The funny thing is, I think Valuev probably deserved the decision in their fight. I'd favor Chambers, Povetkin, and maybe Chagaev and Boystov over Haye as well.

I'm not sure I'm sold on Solis over Haye. After all, Odlanier doesn't have a great pro resume himself. Believe me, I'd love to think Solis beats Haye. I'm not convinced with your argument, though.

That's what sucks about today's boxing: fans are too often left wondering who beats whom, based on performances versus lesser opponents.
