You think he'd have nothing but praise to say after a career high pay day, it's not like he was robbed of glory in that match up, he was soundly whooped.

Maybe you cant fully understand what Clottey is saying, in that interview he said nothing but respectful things about Pac he just doesn't think of him as a special fighter that's his opinion and he is more than entitled to it.

Nah it was me not fully appreciating the context of his words, I forgot that interviewers have a way of bombarding people with questions then fishing out negatively charged statements.
"I had to lose to him because i HAD TO lose that day"
sounds like pac and arum stated this in the contract.. or stated that if you lose you get double the money.
Yea....that was su****ious i might add. Further evidence why Clottey should be banned from boxing. He wanted to retire before the Pac fight to play soccer, so i guess he got cut a deal.
I get annoyed at these threads because when everyone says how great Pac is this and how great he was that, people try pooh pooh these positive comment and praise. But when something on the surface seemingly negative is said, people take it as the truth. So people want it to somehow be known pac isnt special then?
It needs to be put into context. People are baiting Clottey rubbing his nose in it in how complete his beating was at the hands of Pac, and he is trying to say dont make out Pac is God in frustration
