Clottey was always overrated. frankly I never understood why anyone was high on the guy.

very basic fighter. huge for the weight class.

Isn't it self degrading to be dominated by a fighter that supposedly is not that good. Clottey should praise Pacquiao.

I wasn't one of them, but it was mainly because of his 3-5 round success against Margarito. He's basic, but his tight defense, quick combos, and strength would be tough against 99.9% of welterweights. Few fighters can keep him at bay for 12 rounds the way Pacquiao did.

            He's no "Ray Juce" though.

A non-special fighter who made you become a turtle for the whole 12 rounds.... this guy is a joke.. he got the biggest pay day but after that fight no one would give him a fight or he'll just simply out price himself. Face it Clottey, Roach's word got to you, you went in there trying to prove him wrong not win the fight. At least Cotto and Margarito actually gave it a go.

"I had to lose to him because i HAD TO lose that day"

sounds like pac and arum stated this in the contract.. or stated that if you lose you get double the money.

I doubt that was your last interview Clottey, you got some explaining to do.
