Acosta is a good fighter. That was an impressive victory on Rios' part.

You have to believe though that JMM would be able to land his combinations at will. Rios is better than Katsidis, JMM would still find a way. He eats these types of fighters up as long as he doesn't actually get knocked out. And I don't think he will.

This would be a great fight but will end in KO/TKO in favor of Marquez. Marquez will punish Rios with his body shots and pin point accuracy. Would love to watch this fight. Hope they make it happen.

I think Marquez is just way to skilled for a guy like Rios. Hes an excellent pressure fighter but Acosta landed a lot of hard shots and Marquez is twice the Boxer that Acosta is.

Rios' response on wanting to fight the best and leaving it up to his team is the best response I've seen from a fighter in awhile. He made it known that he wants the best(JMM), and that his team is in charge of getting him that fight. THATS how you respond to a question when asked who's next.

But at the end of the day Bam Bam is NOT, and I repeat is NOT, ready for the likes of JMM. But he will be in the not so distant future.
I like Bam Bam but I totally agree he is not ready for JMM,I even will go as far I see Rios getting stop in this match up..JMM is to good and JMM uppercut and ability to adapt to anything in the ring will give him the victory..

Juan Manuel Márquez is also very at fighting while moving backwards. I think he is better than Miguel Acosta. However, he does not bring the kind of lateral movement that Acosta had. That's what was giving Brandon Ríos trouble.

this would be a great fight

and i expect marquez to win it because of his skills. But for all those that discount Rios, remember Katsidis had Marquez down in their fight and although Marquez won, i think Bam Bam is a better fighter than Katsidis and could hurt Marquez worse if they ever fought....It will definitely be entertaining, that i'm sure about.

Exactly my thoughts as I said in another thread rios vs marquez would be like a better version of the Katsidis vs Marquez fight (which was a great fight in its own).

Marquez isn't a good fighter? you're an idiot (fact)

I think that Rios gets exposed attempting to do so.

Marquez is not old enough yet.
