Its a real tough fight, but acosta was a much agile fighter then marquez, i think rios heavy punching power would k.o marquez, marquez could break him down with smart punches, but i jus see dat rios is jus too heavy handed, but its a 50/50 fight, i saw acosta as the biggest threat for rios cause of his agility n fast counter punching n decent power, it would be a great fight, as long as rios is at 135 i dont see nobody beating him at 135

I give Rios props for having balls to want to fight Marquez. But I think Marquez would beat him. Reason being is that Rios come forward style is just tailor made for JMM even at his old age.

It seems that alot of you are discounting the fact that JMM has pop. I'll go as far as to say just as much pop as Bam does(if not just slightly less). He is surgical, and his chin aint as shaky as some of ya'll are making it out to be. JMM tends to get caught off-balanced, not seriously hurt or damaged.

Rios' response on wanting to fight the best and leaving it up to his team is the best response I've seen from a fighter in awhile. He made it known that he wants the best(JMM), and that his team is in charge of getting him that fight. THATS how you respond to a question when asked who's next.

But at the end of the day Bam Bam is NOT, and I repeat is NOT, ready for the likes of JMM. But he will be in the not so distant future.
