Brandon Rios is a walking target.

He's a mini version of Antonio Margarito..has no rhythem, throws barely any jabs and has no head movement at all. He's bound to get knocked out by top contenders. Big heart, but needs to be trained better. If you guys notice, he just follows around, walks to his opponents and stalks, just like margarito.

Margarito fought for welterweight belts like 15 times and was successful more than not so it's not bad to be like him.

I am sure Rios wouldn't mind being an WBO, WBA, and IBF titleholder.

Rios has a lot of intangibles that he can sharpen. He can be a waaaaaaaaaaaay better version of Margo, if Garcia works on them with him.

Agree. Acosta doesn't get enough credit, and neither does Rios. Rios did a lot of smart things in that ring.

As long as he is matched properly he should be fine and really there aren't to many bad match-ups for him in that class even JMM and Guererro (who to me are the best boxers from a technical standpoint in the class) it is possible they could be had against him being that JMM is old and pressure guys can often get older guys while Guererro likes his space and Rios wouldn't allow space.

He is probably the Rios we'll see the rest of his career. The difference between him and Margs is that it wont be too many lights that hit as hard as he does so that gives him a big advantage. One things for sure he does have to look forward to a beating or two down the road. Macho always meets its match in a brutal way. I'll enjoy watching Rios until it comes.

People act as if they are the only ones who know what kind of fighter rios is. Yeah we know what he is and what kind of fighter he is.... He just beat a hell of a fighter but besides jmm i can see him beat anyone in that division. Not saying he would but he would have a hell of a chance beating any of them
