Totally agree. Do you think this fight may end up being a snorefest. I think so.
I'd rather see Nonito vs . Juanma at 126. I just saw Juanma in Vegas last week and he's much smaller in person. I would have to see both fighters side by side. But, I don't think Juanma is that much bigger than Donaire.
, I just told Walt that the Moreno fight could turn ugly because of the styles. So yes I think so it could become a snore fest just because of the styles.
He would get a beating. He is ok but he pushes his punches and leaves his chin up. He has good enough skills to beat slow straight forward fighters but Donaire will KO him if he trys that pushing jab.
and I agree with sotg on this one. no one is gonna stay outside on donaire and beat him fighting tall at 118. i know he moves to his right after the jab and has very good footwork/head movement. he DOES NOT have the style to beat donaire IMO I think its a long beatdown or mid to late KO donaire and yes, I'll give odds if anyone wants to throw down
He would be the only one -not counting the featherweight division- who could probably muscle Donaire.
Moreno is not that guy. However, Moreno will be the first time Donaire gets in the ring as the shorter guy. And, is a pretty damn big bantamweight as well. With good defense, very slick, good counter puncher, great ring generalship, and a smart boxer. But, not somebody who will out muscle somebody.
Agbeko-Donaire is another fight I would love to see. In terms of pure excitement I think Donaire-Agbeko is the best match up that can get made. Because, with moreno in terms of styles, even if Donaire wins, he could look very bad in doing so. It can be an ugly match up. But, one that I want to see regardless.
yea, you know I"m lobbying HARD for Agbeko-Donaire
I actually agree with Burner. If Donaire, waxes Moreno then I would have Donaire #1 P4P on my list as well.
I however think Moreno can also win this match. I wouldn't be surprise if this is Moreno coming out party. Since a lot of you mofo's don't seem to know who he is.
Only a few of us on here know about dude skill set.
Beating Moreno like he did Montiel would be an ATG type of statement.
Stop making silly comparisons, stop talking out of your ass, just overall go and study up the gam(e) up a little bit more. Then you can come talk to me about the gam(e).
I didnt compare ****. Ive seen him and he pushes punches. The onlly way he wins is running and praying for a SD. If you think he stands a better chance than Montiel you should study a little and stop acting like a b*tch when someone disagrees with you. You my friend are a boxing dummy. "He could push Donaire around" Who has he ever pushed around?

Now that is rich.
He doesn't really push punches at all to be honest.

If the fight is signed give me those odds and I will take the bet.
I favor Donaire, I think Donaire will win. But, with the right odds I will even put e-points and real money on Moreno.
Moreno has a hell of a shot to beat Donaire, Anselmo is probably the most underrated fighter in all of boxing. And, he's even underrated in his own division which is nuts. Because, he's arguably the #1 bantamweight just because of the overall resume he has there. His whole body of work at bantamweight. Donaire has the best singular win but Moreno body of work at that weight is better. Agbeko also has a case to be the #1 bantamweight. Hell depending if Agbeko beats Mares and how he beats him. Agbeko would be #1 at 118 for me.
Moreno is so skillful that he goes to your back yard and still comes out victorious. even going to Germany twice, France, Venezuela, they have not found a way to rob him yet from a victory yet. That's how good he is. Style wise match with skill. He's the closest thing to Whitaker that we have right now. Not as good but the closest thing we got.
Agbeko is also pretty damn underrated himself. However, he's getting some shine due to this bantamweight tournament. Much deserved shine. And, is funny because before the tourney nobody was even giving Agbeko any attention. So he deserves a shot as well.
