Difference is, Mayweather is going to just sit there and get punched like Clottey did. He will fight Manny is close quarters where he is the much better fighter.

floyd is a defensive fighter who likes to maintain a safe distance...it's just normal that he would reduce his opponents output. no fighter in his right mind would throw punches even when his opponent is out of range.

We saw a little glimpse in Clottey fight. People were saying he was gonna outwork him then.

It's the body punches.

Don't know if noticed but Pacquiao's work to body is very impressive.

He hurt Margarito very badly in fourth, and almost made Clottey piss blood after fight with constant flicks to head followed by beautiful 2-3 punch combinations to stomoch and side.

He will get Floyd in defensive shell like Clottey more than you think, and do his damage there. Floyds head is hard to hit, but you can hit his arms, chest, stomach, everything.

I can see Pac outworking him, and getting a decision with his high activity.

Why is that the game plan for everybody he fights. It doesnt work. The only thing that Ive seen work consistently on Floyd is good feints. Pac is in big trouble as soon ass he throws that flailing jab. After he gets hit he will put his arms in the air while in that position he'll eat a straight right. Then he will throw his game plan out the window and try to unleash one of those 6 or 7 punch combos but he wont get to finish it. Floyd will do what none of the others have which is successfully clinch; move away from the left; turn Pac's back to the ropes with big man strength and punish him to the body in the middle rounds. From lets say the seventh round on he'll have him tired(which happens often) and look to finish him.
