Trinidad did not have a high workrate. his style, without power, would have been pretty ineffective.

I always liked a Duran-Chavez merge. Duran's right hand+plus Chavez's left hook...Duran's counter punching+Chavez's ability to cut off the ring...plus the guy would basically be one of the most durable mixes ever.

Ray Robinson+Julian Jackson/Pipino Cuevas is basically unfair. hardest puncher ever plus the most complete offensive fighter ever? ouchie. I would choose Jackson for straight KO ability, and Cuevas for bone breaking power...maybe a Robinson Cuevas combo would be more dangerous....
Oh man thats it, at 140? Almost unbeatable.

Your other comparison really is just unfair lol

Oh Ok then well in that case Tommy Hearns with Manny Pacqiauos stamina? Almost unbeatable at 154? What you think?

hmm. that wouldnt improve his chin nor stop him from losing in an infight, similiar to the Barkley rematch. then again, who exactly could have beaten him at the weight....
maybe McCallum. Jackson always has a shot, as does Robinson...thats about it though.

                Joe Louis with Chuvalo's chin...
And I think that Hearns by himself could still outbox Tito Wright.

                  Was his chin that bad?

Other than Hagler and Barkley 1 the only other time he was stopped was to do with stamina problems IMO.

You think his chins that bad? I think thats kind of a myth IMO.

As I said other than 2 occasions the only time he was stopped was due to stamina issues. A hearns with never ending stamina would have beaten Sugar Ray on that night.

Your right though he pretty much struggles to lose at 154 already. But with stamina? Hard to see him lose at 154 IMO.

Mix Old Bernard's craftiness with Young Bernard's athleticism and you have a pretty tricky fighter.
