Yes. I would give Berto full credit for KO'ing Ortiz.

Now if this happens realize that Berto will not get credit for it from most Boxing fans, because of Ortiz moving up(even though he was on his way up anyhow, that young man cant make 140 comfortably anymore). Victor is a BIG JWW, so he fits in fine at WW. Victor has speed and power, and is learning to Box off the backfoot. So it's not like Vic doesn't bring anything to the fight. It's just I have a feeling that all of that will be forgotten, if Berto wins by KO.

in the end no matter who a boxer beats he still gets some hate.. that's boxing for you. Berto should just train hard, do his thing, and tell everybody to **** themselves. even the greatest of them will have haters and critics, that's what i believe.

nah man... if you consistently fight WW bums and jr WWs and avoid your mando, that is worthy of hate.

i dont know if the guy is intentionally avoiding the elites or his promoter lacks the brains to get him the good fights.. im not defending the dude but to get to super star status i guess you have to start with fighting bums.. but he's like 27 fights already right? but i see him trying his best to find good opposition. i dont think ortiz is a pushover, not an elite, but not a bum. JW? i guess. but a big JW who could easily be a ww. but what do i know these are just opinionis haha. i think the quitana win wasnt bad as well. urango not bad too. mediocre resume but you cant say he fought bums.

Ortiz hasn't fought at the WW limit and the advantage is for Berto. So many WW and he keeps picking on JrWW. Ortiz might be a name but is not a huge threat to Berto. Rewatch Ortiz/Peterson and you will see why

Ortiz beating Berto would be a real good look for him. But Berto beating Ortiz, though not a bad win at all, doesn't really do much to his current stock...which resembles the current stock stock of the Pet Rock.

On a side note, I don't think Berto is going to have this huge advantage in size like people think. Ortiz walks around near the Jr Middleweight limit. If anything, him going up in weight may help him (though I don't agree with the catchweight)

yeah because ortiz took out who at ww? berto doesn't deserve any credit for ko'ing ortiz. ortiz ain't no where in the ww rankings and has already been destroyed at jww.

If you don't give Berto credit for KOing Ortiz, there is really few fights in boxing that you'll give anybody credit for.

                    Berto-Ortiz is legit.
