As for me, I'd give him all the credit in the world if he clearly beats Ortiz by UD or KO. If its a Berto-Collazo type of win FORGET ABOUT IT!
joking or serious with that part?
that shit came out of left field

Thats true. The boy will fight hard and thats all you can ask. Cherry picker, maybe. But name the champs right now that cant be accused of that at one time of another.

Cintron is a real live bum in boxing but nobody will say it.

Mike Jones is a member of the FBA. Future Bums of America from what Ive seen.

Those fights wouldnt bother me if Berto took them but I wouldnt be as hyped as I am about this one with Vic.

He would get a bit of credit. But then does anyone really rate Ortiz?

If Berto wants to fight JrWWs, shouldn't he fight the best ones, i.e. Amir Khan, Tim Bradley, Marcos Maidana, JMM?

I dont really see Ortiz as a "true" Junior Welterweight. I have a feel he has a hard time making 140 considering how muscular he is. Look at how much he re-hydrated against Peterson. He weighed 141 at the weigh in the re-hydrated back up to 156 on fight night.

I don't really care about this fight no offense to the Berto or Ortiz fans (if there are any). The only thing that I like is the possibility that we might never hear from the loser of this fight again.

Victor Ortiz was 156 on fight night against Peterson and has had trouble making 140 in the past.

It is time for him to move up to WW.

This fight is good for boxing.

Berto gets credit WHEN he KO's Ortiz.

i'd give Berto a little credit. Ortiz hasnt fought in a welterweight and not even a top jr welterweight. If Ortiz was the top dog in the Jr. Welterweight Berto would get a credit he deserves but Ortiz hasnt proved anything in his boxing career. i'd put Ortiz in a P4P # 10 if he win against Berto beacuse Berto is a top 3 welterweight.

I cannot believe golden boy is serving up Ortiz against Berto. Poor match making in my opinion. Then again they did serve him up to Maidana. Berto should stop Ortiz in my opinion. Berto wins he is suppose to if he loses then there will be a rematch because he is Haymon's boy.
