IMO Martinez is still untested. Pavlik was exposed by Bhop and Taylor, he was probably going downhill having that problem in his arms and alcholism. Paul Williams is the most overrated fighter of all time with no defense and only uses his size advantage over his opponent.

Darch and montiel was on top of their game when they lost to Donaire. Its a no brainer.

I want Martinez to fight fighters like Pirog, Bute, Froch,Kessler- solid fighters before we know where he belongs.
This guy fired his E-guns at me for talking down Pacman, then he returns with this!!Pavlik was exposed by B-Hop & Taylor.Pavlik koed Taylor once & almost twice. He was undefeated at 160 before Martinez. But if Pavlik was exposed, what would u call Margarito at the hands of Mosley & Mosley at the hands of Floyd,I call that ur a big ****in hypocrite.Too bad ur E-guns shoot blanks.

Sergio Martinez beat the #4 p4p fighter to get the #3 spot. I don't get how Donaire beating the #7 p4p fighter is a better win than Martinez beating the #4 p4p fighter. Plus Martinez' KO was better. Donaire should be #4, not #3.

Every fighter you named there was dominated and all(except Peterson)was highly ranked..He did not KO umm but he really out boxed umm..I really think Bradley beat Holt by UD but I'm not sure..

Damn, I've been here since 06, this isn't even my original account. But weren't we all critical of Donaire? I always said he fought weak/ undersized opposition since beating Vic. If we go by rankings then I guess you could say Sidorenko was a good win, but watching those two Moreno fights...he doesn't look like he had much to offer.

          I guess it's all preference.

Sidorenk had faced good competition and had a solid resume. I don't think he beat Agbeko, but he deserved the nod in the first Cordoba fight IMO and beat Poonsawat. Haven't seen the second Cordoba fight though.

Moreno and Donaire were just bad oponents for him.

Montiel and Darchinyan are both future Hall of Famers, and Donaire beat them in their primes.

Williams and Pavlik can't really be classed as future HoF'ers yet (especially Williams).

                prime-Montiel + prime-Darchinyan > prime-Williams + prime-Pavlik.

                Donaire's resume > Martinez's

Not particularly, I'm a Moreno fan in terms of the Bantams.

Well it was Nonito's first fight at Bantam, against a top 5 Bantam in one of the deepest divisions today, a guy who has been in the top 5 since 2006.

He also stopped him, a guy who has never been stopped before.

If you find that pointless or unimpressive for someones first fight at a new weight class then fair enough, thats your opinion.

                  However, I disagree.

The hack editors at the ring have the shortest memories ever. All that matters to them is what happened yesterday. Their ratings are a joke.

I can agree with that, bro.

There's no way the first fight with Sydorenko was an SD.
