So Donaire is Filipino American, eh?

News to me. I heard Kellerman call him a Filipino American, and decided to look it up, and hes actually been in America since he was 11, although he returned to the Phillipines briefy after his amateur career.

great to have another excellent American fighter
Donaire is Donaire, it doesnt matter what his nationality is.

Have you never seen this boy speak perfect English before?

there is no 'claim'. Donaire is where he is not because of him being American nor Filipino, its because of himself.

I just didnt know Donaire even lived in America...havent followed his career until now.

So if a white boy moves to the Philippines does that mean he's Filipino?

I hope Villoria does some noise again.

He should move to 115 then eventually to 118 and rival Nonito

that sounds correct to me. I dont see how being white would stop him from being a citizen of the Phillipines. citizenship is all that matters when it comes to nationality, imo.

but everyone has their different opinion on that, Im sure.
