How? Everyone who isn't biased sees that Donaire was the bigger man. For fuck sakes HBO saw that he was the bigger man, and for an even bigger fuck sakes, Donaire said his size and speed are his main advantages.

But my god you are right, I am so embarrassed right now.

Of course he is the bigger man... He can move up more divisions then Montiel. Just like Morales fought guys @ 122 that never left the division while he moved up several. The fact of the a matter is that they make weight and have the same gravitational pull. Donaire is definitely capable of adding bulk but because he had to make weight he drains and refrains from it. Donaire had to give something up to make 118. 118 is 118 though and even if donaire has the bigger frame he ain't using it to its full potential at 118. He can't have more muscles then Montiel if he has more bone, or use the advantage of gravity because they weigh the same. If you don't get it you never will.

Im not getting worked up, Donaire was simply the far bigger man. People want to make him out to be p4p #1 after that "ok" win, and I felt like putting them in their place.

Donaire is good no doubt, but I want to see him move up to 122 or 126 before I declare him the next big thing.

Give the TS a break, Donaire was obviously bigger (don't act like you don't know what this means) and there is no denying this. I am not taking credit away from him, but the fact is Nonito hasn't fought anybody larger than him, or even close to his own size (and this isn't just weight).

I will give him all his dues when he moves up at least two divisions. Until then he is a highly skilled boxer bullying smaller guys.

Let me put it the most simplest terms.

@ 118 Montiel trained to be at his maximum potential for the weight. He is peaked out for his weight as much as he can squeeze out of it.

@ 118 Donare similarly has trained to be at his maximum potential that he can squeeze out for being 118.

Donaire trained to be his best at 118 like montiel and even if he wanted to be as strong as he would be at 122 or 126 he is limited to his potential at 118 and cannot be at his 122 potential or a 126 potential because he is regulated by the weight regardless of being the bigger man he was same size against montiel at the sactioned weight.
