Pwill and Martinez are roughly the same size regardless of height.

Pac is the smaller man so what does that have to do with anything.

Lol, the lounge is a place to **** around. Who cares what I do there. I didnt know that was the place where serious boxing discussion takes place. Ive noticed you have a hard time distinguishing between the two.

he had height and reach...and the reach was what? an inch or inch and a half more? Montiel came in 8lbs heavier

you act like Wlad was fighting Montiel...and as for PAC, why did i know that would go over your head...its the perfect example of size not being the end-all be-all in fights

it's ok BH...you're actually more entertaining here than the lounge...its funny watching you try to talk boxing...like a ****** chasing a rainbow...

So they cut bone and muscle when they cut weight and gain more muscle and bone after the weigh in... OHHH, now I know what they mean when they talk about rehydration.. I thought it was just water but apparently muscle and bone are involved... Nice to know.
You are so dumb you made my point for me.

I said everyone adds back weight differently, I assumed people knew that meant water weight, but I guess in NSB you have to be more clear.

Silly me, forgive me but you are so much more knowledgeable. I am confused and maybe you can answer this. A lot of people telling me Oscar was at a disadvantage when he fought Pacquiao because he had to make 147... But he was the bigger man!!!!!!!!!! I don't get it. Donaire being the bigger man at 118 surely had an advantage because the gravititational pull holding Donaire down behind his punches was stronger then that of Montiel regardless of what the scales say.

Donaire is no Pac. Montiel is no Pac. So I fail to see your point.

            • People maybe overreacting. I love Donaire and he has been high in my P4P list since forever but Im also not blind enough to see that his 2 biggest wins by far are against guys who looked much much smaller. Its like he was way more faster & skillful then them but on top of that had the dominant size advantage. It reminded me of a young Oscar at the lower weights beating up on guys who looked clearly alot smaller.

Donaire is my man but he's not nowhere near the Floyd-Pac catagory until I see him in a big fight against a guy who is physically the same sized. If he moves up and then beats or even hangs with those guys then Ill give him more props

                no

let me simplify so you dont get headaches

Donaire had an inch and half reach

Montiel weighed 8lbs heavier on fight night

                Donaire is 5'6

                Montiel is 5'4

and here you are talking about Montiel being half his size while we laugh at you

carry on BH....im beginning to actually chuckle at your replies

I agree Pac is great fighter and would beat DLH regardless of size. It is just that a lot of people are saying that DLH having to make 147 took something out of him. I mean, I'm with you man and from what I have gained from your vast boxing I.Q. is that DLH didn't even need to come in at 147 because the results would be the same. We are both in agreement that DLH trying to come in at 147 and making himself smaller is futile because he will still and always be the bigger man so why even try to make 147 right.. What advantages would Pac gain by asking DLH to do so. Same with Donaire and Montiel.. They should just cut the bull and let Donaire come in at 126 because regardless of him getting to 118 to equalize things he is still the bigger man right? Thanks to your boxing expertise, I am now a more competent fan. I appreciate it.

                  • Basically, here is what the TS is saying...

"If you fight a smaller fighter, you get nothing from me."

                    Nice.

I think you fail to see a lot of things. Seems like reading comprehension is not your strongest point. You seem to have a different definition on what "bigger" means. Just stop and cut your loses, you're embarrassing yourself here. Seriously.
