Back on topic... Lets not act like this is the second coming of BHop v RJJ II. If it pushest through, the media will eat it up and so will the viewing public. However, it is not a good fight IMO. JMM should not be fighting above 135.

If Bradley gets the W over Khan or Berto KOs Ortiz, they should be on Bob's short list for Pac in Nov. Berto is fast and aggressive, but clinches a lot and a bit chinny. Bradley is a tough SoB. Win or lose, either would make for an exciting fight.
Really so Filipinos are ashamed of their dark skin? And, they use bleach cream so they can have lighter skin?

    Did not know that...

All of them are idiots though, none of the smart ones who are not Pac fans liked this fight at all...The smart ones agreed that about 135 it was a pointless fight.
By mentioning name. You might make this thread a PED thread =p

Then late last year, GBP did the talking again for Marquez demanding more than half of what they paid Marquez in the Mayweather fight. Now if GBP was really serious in looking after Marquez's welfare they would have budge on Arum's offer. In the end, GBP offered Berto, Khan and Morales as alternative to the Pac fight. Far less than what they rejected. Two are high risk/low rewards.
Exactly, a compromise probably would have worked but GBP was looking to line their pockets on a JMM fight. I think they may have believed JMM has little to no chance so demanded a big chunk and when Arum stood firm, they gave him alternate routes that required a contract extension. Personally, I think all promoters are scumbags, whether it's Arum, King, GBP, Shaw, etc. but with Mosley and most likely JMM leaving GBP, Arum is becoming bigger than ever...

Arum already said he wants the Mayweather fight as a top priority, but doesn't know what the Floyd situation is with legal troubles etc...

              No reply.

Mayweather posted videos of Pac losing on hos twotter and facebook.

He didn't say he wants to fight.

Why are Floyd fans trying to attack Pacquaiomwhen their boy should be the one coming out and talking about fighting Pac?

Pac said he will fight Mayweather because the fans want it.

You can not fight a man who has no come back and told you he wants it.

You may think I am a child for using the vacation word, then you best think your man is a child becausr I took those words from his mouth.

              Tell

Once Marquez signs with Top Rank and becomes an employee as well as submitting to all of the cash cow's demands he'll get the highest payday possibly to date of his career in exchange for tossing the trilogy out the window. All the fighter's that have fought Pac recently know they are just handing their name to him for that last BIG payday.

Marquez needs to become a loyal puppet to the Bobfather and then he's "100% ready" to fight Manny.

It's all to add to the fraudulent "champs" record to boost the megafight.

Floyd doesn't mind because he knows damn well Pac is riding that media hyped high and will shortly be dropped like a stone.

Manny the congroidsman uses Arum as a sheild to protect himself from the fact he's part of picking fighters at the stage their in when the are "100% ready and signed" to fight him. When the carnival act ends he'll blame Arum and everyone around him for "picking" the fighters for him and his fanboys will too.

Manny takes those full random OST tests and you can GUARANTEE he will not only be found POSITIVE for PED's but shortly after he'll be dropped from the spotlight and all the "celebrities" who used him to get their camera time will forget about him.

And you can bet there'll be a list of fighters waiting in line to beat him into oblivion in rematches. Like it or not.

Isn't it amazing that, since talks of Marquez becoming a free-agent have circulated, that JMM has suddenly become a "viable" opponent for Manny, in the eyes of Bob Arum? No more "prove himself at a higher weight first" or "isn't a good draw" talk from the Bobster. Hmmm...

Although it's a fight I personally wan't to see (at whatever weight), it's impossible not to laugh at the incredible hypocracy of good ole Bobby Arum. No doubt, they'll likely offer JMM a sizeable pay difference then what he was willing to offer the JMM that was under GBP contract LOL. Either that or JMM's previous demand will suddenly be acceptable. Bob may be a great business man, but damn, he's so manipulative and transparent.

And really, TBH, the headlines coming out of Top Rank should be nothing less than "Pac-Mayweather fight eyed for November", rather then all these headlines of fights being eyed for Pac this year with a small note in the article saying "if a Mayweather fight can't be made". Arum already has excuses lined up for Floyd, where as Floyd himself is saying (i.e. in the fighthype article) that no one has been reaching out to his management team (I'm assuming he means recently). I believe Bob still wants the Pac-FMJ fight to stay on the back-burner until next year. He needs to milk Manny up until the Grand Finale that would be Pac vs Mayweather. As of right now, he's still trying to lure in Bradley and who knows who else in to signing with Top Rank by damn near guaranteeing a fight with Pac. He needs to save the Mayweather fight as the cherry on the top of Pacs career IMO. I don't think he'll make any serious attempts to move forward with a fight with Floyd until later next year, unless by some miracle Team Mayweather actually approaches Top Rank with a 'lets do it now' offer. I doubt very seriously that'll ever happen.
