Yes I did say that, but that was when I trying my best to give Floyd the benefit of the doubt. I kept making excuse, like what your doing now, but at some point you just gotta see things for what they are.
Floyd just doesn't want to fight Manny. I didn't want to believe it but that's the truth.
Dont worry, you be agreeing with me as soon as Floyd comes out with another excuse. I got a Manny pic for your avi, and a Top Rank banner for your sig
the second you wake up and realize whats going on..lol
Yea, I'm sure you will be out for the day...don't forget DuBoef's coffee, intern!
No excuses on why Pac is fighting 3 -and counting- straight up garbage fights in a row.
Who would you like to see him face in the fall if he can't fight Floyd? Bradley is my choice but I think he gets worked by Amir Khan when they fight in the summer.
Why is there this idea that people said Pacqiauo ducked Marquez and will lose to him? Maybe immediately after there fight in 2008, but not now.
I recall very little people making this claim.
Am I sensing people are going to claim Pacqiauo deserves credit for beating Marquez now? (presuming it's going to be at 147 like Arum said within the last year) Yet there is hardly a single user on here that does the same for Floyd.
What kind of a reply are you looking for? Arum does and says alot of things for show, I don't know why you can't see that. You do realize that Floyd was "on vacation" when he signed to fight Shane Mosley. Floyd has been consistent, in that, the fight is on if Manny does the testing and Manny has jumped through many hoops and holes to avoid the testing. But I'm not going to keep talking about this til I'm blue in the face.
I don't care what Floyd posted on facebook and twitter. LOL. Its the kids that blew that whole little thing out of the water. He has had recent articles talking about why the fight didn't go through. The testing. So as long as Manny isn't willing to get tested, the fight won't happen. And when a fan just asked Manny that about being tested, you see how that went.
But I have come to the realization that the fight won't happen. And, that is just what it is.
"I want to prove to everyone that it wasn’t me who didn’t
want the fight. That’s why I made the concession to take
anything [blood tests] he wants at any time. Even during the
fight before the sixth round if he wanted! What else can I do?
I hope we get the fight done soon. Let’s get it on." -Manny Pacquiao
Does that include Marquez? If so I'm going to say 4 in a row.
Strange Manny had such an incredible 2009 to go on to have a terrible 10 and 11.
Includes JMM, I'm not counting Clottey as just a straight up garbage fight. Because, it was not that bad of an opponent coming back from the 08 and 09 run Pac had. Where he actually took real challenges and fights. So him fight Clottey was OK...But, Marg? Mosley? And, now JMM at 147? Is Garbage...And, then possibly the winner of Cotto-Margarito II? Laughable.
Who would you like to see him face in the fall if he can't fight Floyd? Bradley is my choice but I think he gets worked by Amir Khan when they fight in the summer.
The same guy I feel he should be fighting in May, Berto...If not wait till July to see if Bradley beats Khan. That would make Bradley an ideal opponent as well. I am only interested in a JMM fight if it's at 135. That's the only weight-class where the fight would be intriguing and competitive.
