Comments Thread For: Vanes Calls "Bull****" on WBC's Alvarez-Hatton Sanction

An angry Vanes Martirosyan (28-0, 17KOs) reached out to BoxingScene.com to call "bull****" on the WBC's sanction of Saul Alvarez-Matthew Hatton. On Wednesday the WBC announced that Alvarez-Hatton was being sanctioned as a fight for the vacant junior middleweight title. Their decision raised a lot of eyebrows because Hatton, a welterweight, is not even ranked under the WBC at 154-pounds.

Don't worry, you're signed to one of the two major promoters, you've struggled with boxers who were hand-picked to make you look good and have spent far more time running your mouth than you have fighting good opponents. With a resume like that, you'll surely get a vacant title fight against a B level fighter before the year is out.

I can understand Vanes getting upset but take care of your own business before getting involved with others.

Plus he should want Alvarez to get a title that way it is easier to line up a shot with the young money man.

The WBC are desperate to give a belt to Canelo. They can't wait to get their claws into him.
