    No they don't care and yes they are hurting the sport.

    People need to stop caring about these titles once and for all, regardless of whether they think the sanctioning body in question is legitimate, well-intentioned and fair or corrupt and greedy. What matters is who you beat and how you perform against top opposition. World titles used to mean something but I don't think that's the case anymore.

    Go to WBC's website, any fan can have a belt in a weight class of their choice. All you have to do is negotiate the sanctioning fees. I picked up a bantamweight strap for just $200 bucks. It's hanging in my room, that **** is hot.
