Do Jose Suliman/WBC Even Care About Boxing?

Am shocked Alvarez vs Hatton is for the WBC 154lb title, WTF? What has Matthew Hatton done to fight for the 154lb title, he's never even fought at the weight.

They strip Sergio and give it to Zblik so Chavez Jr can take it off a easier touch. They give the go ahead for Pacquiao/Marg to fight fot the belt even do it was at 150lb fight.

    Is the WBC hurting boxing?

Yes the WBC is hurting boxing imo. They are clearly not fair and are pretty open about it.

Go to WBC's website, any fan can have a belt in a weight class of their choice. All you have to do is negotiate the sanctioning fees. I picked up a bantamweight strap for just $200 bucks. It's hanging in my room, that **** is hot.

No they don't care and yes they are hurting the sport.

People need to stop caring about these titles once and for all, regardless of whether they think the sanctioning body in question is legitimate, well-intentioned and fair or corrupt and greedy. What matters is who you beat and how you perform against top opposition. World titles used to mean something but I don't think that's the case anymore.
