So 8 weight phenom Manny Pacquiao or Mike Tyson who ermm... beat a past prime Larry Holmes!
Not sure but could you imagine a 5'5" 147lb Tyson against Pac? Or a 5'10" 210lb Pac against Tyson? That would be a WAR!

Pacquiao is clearly greater and has had an excellent career, but people need to stop counting his 8th title.

I'm not even reading this thread its outragous!

as much as I love Tyson (as a person and who he has become, his story etc) it's not even serious question. Tysons early fights were against bums and journeymen, he fought in a weak era and avoided Lewis earlier in his career. His true legacy was becoming youngest world champ and been generally considered one of the most intimidating fighters to ever enter the ring. That intimidation factor will weaken as time passes and people will look more at his record which doesn't come close to ATG status for me,

Probably because you're not that smart or hate manny for some reason.

Feel free to explain your reasoning.

If it wasnt for the jail sentance, there wouldnt have been any competition in the heavyweight division in the early 90's, well aside from Lewis. Just off top -Bruno/Hide/Bowe/Younger Holyfield/Mercer IMO wouldnt have been champ. Also you dont get catchweights in HW division as such.

                    Circumstantial and based on nothing.

Tyson is better. 20 yrs from now people will still be talking about Tyson's KO reign. Unless Pac beat Mayweather they won't be talking about him at all.
