Lightweight? Come on man, he was very fast by Heavyweights standards but lets not get too excited. He was a freak but to say he is more skilled or has a better resume than Pac is bogus.

He got out boxed so many times by jabbers and has looked clueless at times.

Which is why I said p4p quicker. Even for their weight classes, they're faster. Off the top of my head, here's 10 guys quicker than Tyson p4p who have fought since his career started.

Pacquiao has no defense? What? He slips punches as well as anyone and he throws that right hook/left uppercut follow up counter better. His defense isn't Floyd-like, but he's got excellent defense for a guy who likes to come forward. When he gets on his bike, like against Margarito, he's very tricky to hit because of his ultra-fast feet.

Tyson never had the oppurtunity to truly be as great as he could while in his prime. By the time he was scheduled to face a real threat in his career, he got thrown in jail, and even by then he was already slipping. Fact is, Manny has the superior legacy.

So far 9 people should be ip banned. This isn't really close, and it hurts me to pick anyone over iron mike.

There's a wide gulf bet these two and pac's no even retired yet. We saw what happened to Tyson when someone finally stood up to him. He had good skills and great offense. But manny's skills have been displayed against a much higher level of comp. When Tyson got to a fighters his skill level looked very different.
