Stop beating a dead horse uncle Bob. It's not you to decide whether Mayweather fights Pacquiao or not. Not even God can make Floyd fight Pacquiao. It's a waste of time. Marquez at 140 is an extremely entertaining fight. Screw the super boring fight.

I remember when Arum was talking about a countdown for Floyd and showing the media that he's supposedly trying to make the fight. In other reports, way before the countdown, you had Margarito claiming Arum already told him he's gonna fight Pacquiao in November. Same thing happened with Clottey. And like the saying goes; fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. Arum is not fooling any one this time. An opponent, date, and venue is already chosen for Pacquiao's next fight after Mosley. Arum is the girl who cried wolf. No one who's unbiased will believe him. We'll have to see it to believe it.
**** if edwin valero was alive he would be in the mix as well making a mayweather fight even further away. arum knows what he is doing he is milking manny also while protecting manny image by making it seem like floyd is the bad guy. floyd gladly is playing the bad guy while he chills and waits. manny will fight all top rank fighters or guys who sign to them like mosley did for a fight with manny. arum likes to be in full controll or will work with king. but not GPP who he fells is like underneath him.

he will work with floyd for the fight once manny has gone thru all other options and is in his finally fight or 2

Is that what they are passing off as SLick nowadays? Tim Bradley....LMAO....if thats the case then Josh Clottey is Pernell Whittaker.

Another lie from team scArum. If PBF was a priority, then they should have already fought then. Bottom line is still, No Test, No Fight!

                out for awhile

Its been awhile since I have posted, and I'm probably stating something that has already been said, but to me this whole Pac/Mayweather issue has more to do with Arum and Golden Boy than the actual fighters themselves. You see the moves that fighters like Mosley and Marquez are making to get a shot at Pacquiauo as well as the kind of junk Arum speaks on a regular basis in regards to Golden Boy's representatives and it just seems painfully obvious to me that Mayweather's whole affiliation with Golden Boy is what has been responsible for the fight not being made. Arum is playing the spoiled child role, but as long as he has the money maker (Pac in this case) then he calls all the shots.
It finally seems that there is light at the end of the tunnel as he and Mayweather seem to be atleast cordial to each other. This coupled with the fact that Mayweather has been reportedly been in discussions with Don King tells me that Mayweather wants the fight and is willing to do whatever to secure it. Don King, and Don Arum will get one last mega event to sell and everybody saves face in the process. I look forward to a fight between Pacquiao and Mayweather if all goes well on May 7th to be announced for November.

                    bump ........lol at bob arum

“Floyd is still our number one priority,” said Arum. “We want to find out if he’s available or what his legal status is. Right now I have no idea. If it’s Floyd, then certainly it’s Vegas. But if it’s Marquez, we might go somewhere else."

According to a report in The Philippine Star, WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao is scheduled to return in the month of November. First, he must defeat "Sugar" Shane Mosley on May 7 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. If Pacquiao beats Mosley, then his promoter, Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum, will attempt to make a fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. The fight depends on the outcome of Mayweather's ongoing criminal court battles.
