  • The Purrity fight I don't care about, it's the anomaly of the Brewster fight that I just don't understand. The dude literally dominated that fight for 4 rounds, 2 minutes, 15 seconds. Two left hooks from Brewster and Wlad was done. Makes no sense.

Another thing that makes no sense... the shape of Wlad's body from around that time to now. Dude has built some scary muscle. I wonder how he achieved it. I wonder.

Seriously. He was only 5'6 and giving up 6" in height and probably more in reach to Sugar Ray. Dude is relentless. His body attack is vicious.

Dempsey gets schooled by the underrated slick southpaw Ibragimov.

Jack Dempsey is not a featherfist or a fatass like 90% of Wlad's opponents. Who on Wlad's resume' had the POWER/speed combination that Dempsey has?

Come to think of it, the only opponents that fit that description are two guys who knocked him the fck out. Brewster/sanders.
You are obviously overlooking the fact that Dempsey was very small for a heavyweight and seem to not be considering that Brewster and Sanders were also very hungry and motivated for their fights with Wlad at the time. Not to mention both of them even dwarfing Dempsey and would most likely beat him as well. Do yourself a favor and take a good look at how many undefeated up and coming fighters Wlad has dominated to appreciate his brilliance.

He agreed to fight Wills(a black contender who was by far the best HW of his era that he failed to fight) but the powers that be stopped the fight from going ahead as they did not want the chance of another JJ, though IMO and its certainly debatable, Dempsey deserves some criticism for declaring that he would never face Wills, after Wills tried to block his fight with Firpo. Dempsey did not fight blacks(well only two at the beginning of his career) but don't get it twisted, he has also drawn considerable criticism for not fighting Greb who was white.
I love Dempsey and you're right the Wills criticism isn't valid Jack actually signed to fight him twice. Greb is probably the least discussed and most valid case of Dempsey having avoided.

example: Duane Bobick(a white American) who was a gold medalist and amateur champ. all the best Eastern European boxers were all in the amateurs, right? but Bobick still beat them all, plus Teofilo Stevenson

look at 1972. He faced three of the best of the Soviet Union's HWs, including Vladimir CHERNYSHEV, Valeri INYATKIN, and Kamo SAROYAN
Stevenson lost both times he fought Igor Vysotsky in 1973 & 1976. Igor dropped Stevenson in both the 1st and 2nd round before KOing him cold in the 3rd in their 2nd meeting..... and Igor was only 6'0 tall while Stevenson was a 6'6 SHW. Just saying.

                • anyone that claims that "eastern euros" were locked from going pro because of the cold war are obviously dumb. or better yet impostors....how can a american such as myself know more about the history of eastern europe vs one who claims to be of that origin. eastern europe has over 14 countries. only a select few of these countries were actually involved in the "cold war" (the u.s. is A country that was involved in the cold war) eastern euros just suck when it comes to the sport of boxing. & pretty much always have ******....anyone thats been involved in combat sports know that eastern europe is the capital of steroids....it is no secret. steroids are viewed as more of a positive enhancer then actually being illegal in eastern europe. thats why when anyone wants roids we go to eastern europe. they have things that will never show up on your roid test. amazing....

in closing, what a ******. a ****** that doesn't even know his own so called history

                  WHOOOOOHAHAHAHAHA

                  I call a fraud.......
