Read the OP ******, you assumed wrong, I know Floyd fought Castillo at 135, the WW version of Chavez does not impose the same physical problems to WW Floyd that JLC idd at 135. LOL at you, making fun of JLCs physique when defending Chavez physique.

well, its dumb to match up Chavez and Mayweather at WW when the were both better at 140/135lbs. At Welterweight it would probably be a toss up then because Chavez wasnt really suited to the weight, but to be fair by the time he got to Welterweight he was going downhill.

You take a prime Chavez and put him at 147lbs, I dont think the extra weight would ruin him, but he probably would be slightly worse.

Castillos body was very lanky and stretched out. Chavez wasnt exactly the most muscular guy, but he looked a lot more solid than Castillo. regardless, physique doesnt necessarily define how strong someone is, and Chavez has shown the ability to push opponents around at a heavier weight, something Castillo was never able to do.

it tells you he's not that strong, and definitely not stronger than jcc.

you and I have different views on what an atg is.

jlc is not an atg lw. castillo/sosa/ndou DO NOT make you an ATG lw, or a top 15 lw. not even close. especially because of all the other comp at lw that were beltholders and ready and willing to fight floyd. if floyd even went and took out frietas, or fought casa, paul, or sj (after the whole castillo fiasco) at the time, he could be considered.

roger was using a philly shell in your last vid....if you'd actually studied these fighters & didn't go trolling on youtube for 2 minutes you'd know that roger HARDLY ever used a philly shell. & floyds "gaurd" is extremely multi dimensional in it's self (thats a whole other debate) also anyone can throw their hands up into a philly shell. hell I've seen oscar using a philly shell before. I've seen joseph agbeko using it. you're ether trolling or EXTREMELY slow.

            :wank:
wtf could you think a defensive style meant, idiot? and Roger didnt use that defense his entire career, but I very clearly said he used it effectively during his 140lb reign, particularly against Pazienza and also in the rematch with Chavez. It worked very well against Pazienza, who was a quality fighter.

I dont give a damn how many other fighters used it, the point is that Mayweather has a similiar style of defense and that Chavez figured out how to deal with it...how is it not relevant? Roger himself trained Floyd in how to use it, along with Sr who partially taught Roger that type of defense. its not like that style is limited to just one person, its been used throughout boxing history.

For the record I favor Mayweather at 147, 50/50 at 140, Chavez at 135 and 50/50 at 130.

Castillo was very effective at bullying Mayweather because he could not handle the weight increase well, at WW Mayweather is much more comfortable and could not be bullied by Chavez who was not his very best at that weight.

Also Mayweather said he took sparring easy on Randall just after he beat Chavez but in reality he whooped Randall making him better than Chavez

              • Tito was much bigger and his punches were short and straight. "Toy" is too much, maybe outpoint him if he doesn't succumb to pressure and gets hit here and there and end up in trouble

Please tell me where I said Floyd was an ATG LW? And tell me what is an ATG then? Also when I refer to someone as an ATG in a weight-class, I'm not necessarily claiiming them to be an ATG, Castillo for instance.

wait what? which Mayweather? Jr was 16 or 17 years old when Chavez and Randall fought.

******. a all around defensive "style" is DIFFERENT from a defensive "guard" MORON. i pointed out that it was a PHILLY shell in what roger was using in that last vid.....A philly shell doesn't = the same defensive style as mayweather u IMBICILE. anyone can throw up a "philly" shell. i guess oscar & mayweather had the same defensive styles too huh. yea oscar & floyd had the same defensive styles....so does agbeko & floyd YEEEEEhahaha. the 2nd roger chavez bout roger clearly fought most of that fight on his toes behind a jab...throwing up your hands in a certain way doensn't = floyds defensive style.

                      you are beyond ******ED kido.
