Now that he hooked up with Nacho Beristain Maidana is gonna be killing foos in the ring! He's already a beast imagine how much better he will get now that he will have a great trainer? Lets see if Roach actually puts Pac in there against Maidana now that he has Beristain...Team Pac will probably come up with some bullshit to not make it happen....Team Pac said they wanted Maidana next, lets see them put their money where their mouth is!

Roach and Pac took almost a decade of training together to get to where they are now.

Just because Maidana got Beristain, it doesn't mean that we'd see a significant improvement immediately. In fact, having a new trainer is a double-edged sword.

Depending on how the training goes, it could either improve you, make no changes, or at the worst case scenario actually ruin your style.

Besides. Roach is 3 for 3 over beristein and i doubt if roach would allow that to make him complacent.

In short, i really don't see any reason whatsoever for Pac/Roach to ever be afraid of facing Maidana/Beristain. Most likely people would even accuse Pac of cherry picking if he'd ever fight Maidana, no matter who his trainer is.
