I don't see how Nacho can help someone with the fighting style of Maidana. I don't see Maidana being able to incorporate that Nacho Beristain style into his game. I think that Victor Ortiz is the type of fighter that will benefit from Nacho's teachings.

not sure if a major overhaul in Maidana's style is what's needed...especially at this stage but i do think Nacho will just try to build on what's already there..the best i can see is Maidana being kinda like Abner Mares when he was with Nacho...controlled aggression, power and technique...i dont think he's as athletic as Mares but i'll give he and Nacho the benefit and see how they look in their first fight together
