Maidana doesn't really fit the Nacho 'mold' of fighter...he's an aggressive brute that relies on power and relentlessness...we'll see how much technique Nacho can instill in him at this point of his career

if anything, he'll help him focus and probably get him in better shape...but as far as making him Finito or JMM-like, i have my doubts

He wont be as good(technically) as JMM but I dont see how it wont benefit him...Maidana is gonna learn to use that power in a smarter way and im sure his boxing ability will improve.

Ihavent heard Nacho give any good advice during a fight in quite a while. He had no idea what to tell Marquez when Floyd was having target practice. I dont see him being able to make any adjustments in Maidana's game. Besides I like the undiscipline Maidana.

not sure if a major overhaul in Maidana's style is what's needed...especially at this stage but i do think Nacho will just try to build on what's already there..the best i can see is Maidana being kinda like Abner Mares when he was with Nacho...controlled aggression, power and technique...i dont think he's as athletic as Mares but i'll give he and Nacho the benefit and see how they look in their first fight together

interesting that it might be against El Terrible so we might not know exactly, on the surface, how much he improves

you really want maidana to fight pacquiao? maidana is the exact kind of opponent that pacquiao looks best against.

khan knocks down and NEARLY knocks out maidana in the first round with a body shot what the hell do you think pac would do to this guy??

pac would get so much heat if he fought maidana he's not even the second best at 140.

Khan would have stopped Maidana had the body shot happened with 30 seconds of the round left.. Pac would straight up kill Maidana.. Pac is 10x the fighter Khan is (and i am a Khan fan)

Maidana doesn't even have size advantage over Pac..
