all this time I have been on this boards I haven't noticed that you reside in Tacoma WA...I lived in the Seattle area Everett to be exact...I kind of miss WA but is rare when boxing goes there. You just had a hell of a double header though with the bantamweight tournament...I went to Forrest-Baldomir in Emerald queen casino. Long drive from Seattle to Tacoma, especially for that fight

I just moved here in September.....Everett has the Silverbacks I believe. Haven't been to any fights up here yet......the last local card was on the same night I had already bought tickets to the T-Birds game so I was in Kent for that :rolleyes9:

There's only one defensive Genius in the last ten years of boxing

Alot of people mentioned, how SRL had more power, better skills, better footwork, bigger in size.
But no one mentions there defensive attributes. Mayweather is simply leagues above SRL in that department. I believe they are similar in all other attributes except defence
Could you honestly see mayweather losing to Roberto Duran? that would be an easy UD for Money

Slip shots, perfectly timed shoulder role? place elbow over liver(avoid effective body shots), he's stance is very strange too as he doesn't stand like an orthodox fighter when in defensive mode. Defence isn't simply using your great footwork to get away from shots?(prime Roy jones), elite defence is standing on the ropes and taking all of your challangers best shots, and 1 of 20 hits your thats somthing else....James Toney had somthing similar, i'm not talking about rope-a-dope either

There are alot of fighters that could match floyds other skills in the last few decades but there are few who could match he's defensive work rate....unfortunately alot of people in these forums don't recognise defence as work rate

Yeah, I could see Floyd getting KTFO by Duran. Duran is arguably the GOAT at Lightweight. The closest Floyd's getting to GOAT at anything is at a petting zoo. Duran >>>>>>>>> Floyd and it ain't even close.
