Suger Ray, no contest. Completely different levels of skill and competition.

those guys I hate, I'm more of a talk the talk, walk the walk type person. you're a guy who like to speculate on what might happen. i wanna see if you can do it. it's much manlier to try and fail than to avoid and make excuses. maybe I like older fighters because they actually DID that. guys rarely do that nowadays except for the cotto, adamek, mares, jmm, vic d, calderon, bradley type fighters.

it's not wasting your time when you could actually be opening your mind to opinions other than your own and learning something. maybe you should try it.

did he tell you what game he is a student of? He hasn't answered me yet

granted I did write srl by brutal ko, when I think it would be a late tko, but regardless, it's a lot more likely than floyd winning that fight at 147 to me.

floyd is just not on that type of level. we will never know if he could be most likely cuz the pac fight doesn't look like its happening and its a shame. could you see srl fighting nowadays and fighting the guys floyd's been fighting? I don't. i see him beating pac's ass and looking for sergio yesterday.
Green K for the Avi my dude jeez..

Leonard would win, but it always amazes me how everyone just seems to think he would go in there and blow him out. Ray would have had a massive amount of respect for Mayweather's speed and defensive abilities. Leonard in a relatively close UD would be my pick.

I agree with you for the most part, except almost one in three have Floyd beating Leonard (even one by KO, lol.)

I'm not talking about those nuts that would pick Floyd to beat Ali though. In the past I have often seen serious posters stating that Leonard would just straight up walk in there and blow Floyd out of the ring. I think its a combination of Ray being a little overhyped by some of our members and the hate for Floyd.

Oh ABSOLUTELY!!!!! Ray would make the fights It took forever but he did make the Hagler fight. So I see that on the real. I just cant say fa sho that he beats Floyd, but I cant say Floyd beats Ray either. I really call draw. But hands down SRL had the better opponents. THAT is not even debatable to me Bruhnlaw.

But I feel you it's very hard to gauge Floyd's skills against that era of fighters. Floyd doesnt fight often enough, nor does he have those type of fighters around.

I dont got you bein no hater, you're using wellrounded logic as far as I'm conserned bruh.

yuh chief, I rub it in or come across as a smidge of an a$$ sometimes in here. but i always end up splainin myself.

iwho has floyd fought that would prepare him for what srl brings to the ring? who is the guy he fought that would give him an idea of what he'd be facing? sure he'd have roger and big floyd's insight, but srl cracked big floyd's shoulder roll. srl could adjust midfight just like floyd can. and against greater fighters with a more diverse skill set.

Ray wouldn't blow him out but i don't think it would be that close either. Leonard just had too much for Floyd to think about (hand speed edge, power edge, foot speed edge, volume of punches ect). Imagine the kind of punches that Floyd would take if he tried to stand flat footed and counter every shot the way he did against Mosley? Id invite people to watch him against Benitez to see how he reacts to a master defensive first counter puncher. That was a vintage Leonard.
