Oscar on the other hand was a more lagit champion. His resume is 10 X better and he was great from the Olympics to his pro career.

It's tough to say because both were big money makers but if you look at the entire career of both men, Oscar was on top longer and generated more money.

SO I would have to go with Oscar.
Has Oscar really made over 400 Million yet?

Tyson is a global icon. No matter what country you go to people know who Mike Tyson is. That's not the case with Oscar De La Hoya.

Tyson is as well known around the world as Michael Jordan, muhammed Ali, Tiger Woods..etc.

Oscar has made more money outside of boxing than in boxing. His company netted over 300 million last year alone.

I don't know how much money he made while he was boxing but I think he made the most ever.

Tyson squandered most of his money.

I thought he said impact on boxing. Tyson is the biggest celebrity but Oscar affected boxing the most. Oscar was the first fighter I remember that could make his opponent a star. He brought boxing to the new Holllywood. Tyson wins a popularity contest world wide but he didnt really change the game.

Tyson and it's not even close. Tyson may have even eclipsed Ali... It was insane when Mike was on the scene.
