This is quite clearly a response to those endlessly tedious "all the best American boxers are in the NFL" threads. The two sports are different, and the athletic skills required to excel in one are different from those needed to excel in the other.
BTW, all the best Middleweights are currently playing soccer.Comment

Congratulations Greenbay Packers for being the 2011 SB Champions*
*Super Bowl Champions in 2011 simply means champions of America and won while playing in an era of national segregation and fat, out of shape linemen.
Again, imagine having to tackle this...
instead of this...
And look at all the old people in the NFL...Brett Favre is old and used up, but last year was considered in the top 10 p4p qb's in the entire sport. Top 10 p4p and he was old, barely training (didnt go to training camp) and pretty much just showing up for the games and still was putting up big numbers...it just shows the quality of athlete in the sport...and how many guys get caught with steroids? Its ridiculous.Comment

Why Eastern Europeans?
I often wonder though how many Rugby players could have made it in the NFL, with it being a lot more skilled and tougher game.

Its not really the same thing at all 2 completly different sports what skills would a rugby player have to bring to American football. They wouldn't exactly make good QBs and its a different ball to kick. The only position I could see any rugby player able to play would be linebacker.Comment
