I agree with the people who down grade this fight. It's pure utter shit. Katsidis would've been a tougher challenge and he was willing to fight Amir. He has a decent punch too.

Maidana (who is ranked #3 by The Ring), followed by McCloskey (who is ranked #10 by The Ring), followed by Bradley (who is ranked #1 by The Ring) equates to not fighting the top guys? You are the one who's a disgrace, posting such obvious rubbish in a boxing forum.

Bradley said he's not gonna wait around for Khan, so he might sign to fight someone else in the mean time.

Khan barks the loudest of the top three at 140 lb about being the best. Alexander and Bradley were man enough to fight each other, but Khan is fighting someone not know to many boxing fans. I'm willing to bet that Alexander or Bradley won't look for an easy fight. This tells me that Khan isn't sure of himself. I hope McCloskey can pull the trigger and put this guy in a position where Alexander or Bradley won't give him a second look.

What is Katsides ranking at Jr Welterweight? What Jr Welterweights has he beaten?

Just because you don't know about him doesn't make him an easy opponent. And if you're from the US, as I suspect, then you're just showing a xenophobic prejudice against non-US fighters. He is ranked just one place behind Peterson by both boxrec and The Ring, and is a bone fide top 10 fighter, who has real skills. He would probably beat Peterson. And in the UK, where the fight is taking place, he's far more well known than Peterson. A huge number of Irish fans will go to see it, and a huge number more will watch it on TV. And even in the US, a huge number of Irish Americans will tune in to see it, because he's Irish and is the European champion.

Alexander did against Kotelnik and got spanked.

I think people are starting to overrate Khan after he beat Maidana. Maidana is good, but we got to remember that he barely beat Demarcus Corley FFS!! What about fighting Lucas Matthyse? He did better against Corley than Maidana did. Oh, that's right. He's wouldn't be available in April according to the Khan fag boys.

He's ranked #10 by The Ring and by boxrec. He's the same sort of calibre opponent as Peterson (who is only ranked one place above him), with good skills, and is much better known in the UK than Peterson is.
