When are people going to learn that Paul Haymon fighters NEVER fight each other? It's just not going to happen.
Berto vs. Williams. Should this fight be made????

I feel ya iBB. But we see that we jumped up and damn it down for Bradley/Alexander, and HBO gave it to us on a silver platter. I think we should start hollerin for this fight, we might get it.
Do you see it as a relavent fight?Comment

I'm not even convinced Williams can still make 147.You dont think it would bring some much needed excitement to the WW division? I think it can help revive the division while we wait for the 140lbers to move up. Manny and Floyd have this division held hostage right now, and the 140's aint ready to move in just yet. Cintron appearently is back at 147, Mike Jones has to get through Karass and then he'll make back the buzz he had before the 1st fight. With Paul back some life could be pumped into the division. IMHO.Comment

I agree it's not easy. But they've been sayin he's most comfy at 147. I dont see no reason not to believe them on that. What better way to prove it to folks than to make the weight for a championship bout?
Paul gets to prove that he really is a WW, and Andre gets to fight at the WW limit with NO catch-weight. It's a win-win for all involved.Comment

Fair enough. If Paul Williams fights at 147 and proves he can make it comfortably, and called out Berto, I agree Berto would be inclined to fight him. However, like Scott said, Al Haymon fighters don't fight each other. HBO would have to push for it hard to get any chance of it happening.I agree it's not easy. But they've been sayin he's most comfy at 147. I dont see no reason not to believe them on that. What better way to prove it to folks than to make the weight for a championship bout?
